Membership of umbrella organisations

The Haemophilia Alliance is a UK wide partnership between patients with inherited bleeding disorders and health care professionals involved in the delivery of their care.

The EHC is an organisation of European haemophilia associations facilitating consultation, discussion and dissemination of information on important issues related to bleeding disorders.

The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with hemophilia and related bleeding disorders.

The Specialised Healthcare Alliance (SHCA) is a broad coalition of patient groups supported by a smaller number of corporate members. It was established in 2003 to campaign on behalf of people with conditions which require specialised medical care. These conditions tend to be rarer and both complex and expensive to treat. Examples are numerous but include certain cancers, cystic fibrosis, haemophilia, neurological conditions and a wide range of services for children. Accidents or complications of more common conditions can also trigger the need for specialised services such as burns, pain management and spinal injuries.

The national charity of over 150 patient organisations supporting all those affected by genetic conditions.

National Voices is the new umbrella organisation established by and for the voluntary sector. It brings together all national voluntary organisations representing users of health and social care to give them a stronger voice in policy-making.

ACEVO is the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations. They connect, develop and represent the third sector's leaders. They have over 2000 members and have been providing support and advice to them for 20 years.

The User Involvement in Voluntary Organisations Shared Learning Group (UIVOSLG) aims to encourage shared learning about user and/or carer involvement between medium and large voluntary sector organisations working within the UK.

An alliance which brings together voluntary organisations established for the relief of people suffering from long term condition to improve their care, treatment and management; and to advance the education of the public on the causes, effects, treatment and management of all long-term conditions.

The Disability Benefits Consortium (DBC) is a national coalition of over 50 different charities and other organisations committed to working towards a fair benefits system.

Disability Rights UK has been formed through a unification of Disability Alliance, Radar and National Centre for Independent Living on 1 January 2012. We aim to be the largest national pan-disability organisation led by disabled people.

The CPAG want a society where all children can enjoy their childhoods and have fair chances in life to reach their full potential. We campaign and lobby to make this a reality, and maximise family incomes through our welfare rights work, publications and training.
