Providing information and support for children and families is a very important part of the work of the Haemophilia Society.
We have been organising activity weekends for decades. It can be difficult for schools and youth organisations to allow some children with bleeding disorders to fully take part in activities. By working with healthcare professionals the Haemophilia Society Activity Weekends provide those opportunities. They are also a fantastic opportunity for get to know other children affected by bleeding disorders and learn more about the conditions.
The Society also provides a website for children and teenagers called Young Bloods.
