The Haemophilia Society is the only national and independent charity for all people affected by bleeding disorders.

We are led by affected people and work in close partnership with the NHS. We provide information and support for everyone affected by a bleeding disorder and represent their interests. 23,700 people in the UK are currently diagnosed with a bleeding disorder.

We were formed by our local groups in 1950 and have been working raise the awareness of bleeding disorder ever since. Membership is free so that it is as easy as possible to get involved.
