The history of people being infected with HIV and Hep as a result of being treated with plasma derived blood products means that the Haemophilia Society take a particularly any potential or theoretical threats to product safety extremely seriously.
These pages are for general information only. If you have a specific concern about any treatment then please ask your Haemophilia Centre for more information. However, there are no reported infections arising from products currently used to treat people with bleeding disorders in the UK.
