Sports Day – Saturday 13 September 2025

Let’s get moving!
Join us for a nationwide celebration of sport, exercise and community.
On Saturday, 13 September get your friends, family and team mates together for the Haemophilia Society’s first-ever Sports Day, a chance to have fun, get active and raise vital funds for our charity.
We want to get people across the UK moving as part of a festival of fitness and fun. Sports Day can be whatever you want it to be – get out with your family for a walk or bike ride, get your friends involved for a sponsored challenge or put on your own event that brings your community together. We’re here to help you make your ideas a reality.
We’re also partnering with local haemophilia centres across the country, so get in touch with yours to see what they’re planning.
Big or small, we need your help to make Sports Day a massive success.

Why Sports Day?
Being active is important for everyone – not just those with a bleeding disorder. Staying strong and building muscles to protect your joints, increase bone density, and support long-term heart health are essential for living a full and healthy life.
We’ve made it our mission to promote the importance and benefits of exercise and physical activity as part of our Sports Day campaign.
We’ll also be releasing a series of animations called ‘Chris Clotter’s Sports Day’ in which our new mascot will be exploring various sports that are perfect for people with a bleeding disorder. Episode one is coming very soon!
Help us hit £40,565
Random number? Not really, that’s the number of people in the UK with a diagnosed bleeding disorder. We want to raise £1 for every person in the UK with a bleeding disorder and we need your help to do it.
Whether it’s a BBQ at your local sports club or an individual challenge, every penny counts. We’ve got t-shirts, balloons and bunting to give away – and lots of ideas. Tell us what you’re planning and we’ll support you.
All money raised will be used to make sure that the Haemophilia Society continues to support our whole community through events, information and advocacy.
