Scottish Development Project

The Scottish Development Project ran from October 2007 and October 2009.

The Haemophilia Society pulled together money from a number of sources to conduct some detailed work in Scotland.

The project involved extensive outreach to people affected by bleeding disorders in Scotland as well as closer liasion with the centres.

At the end of the project we were left with a much clearer picture of the needs of people affected by bleeding disorders in Scotland and some clear recommendations for the future.

Those recommendations laid the foundations for the establishment of the Scottish Management Committee.
